LSA prepared a community outreach product “Development Standards and Design Guidelines” to convey the intent, land uses, and architectural design for Walnut Park Mixed-Use Project. The document also serves as a guideline to decision makers and staff planners to review the proposed project. The organization of the document is specifically tailored for community outreach. The main objective of the document is to emphasize graphics over written material. Creative use of symbols, arrows, call-outs, and organization/template has been used for graphics that are easy to comprehend. The text is organized in simple sentences, bullets, and tables to enable a reader to quickly grasp the content.
