Location:Turlock, California
The proposed public safety building is comprised of 58,570 square feet of police and fire administrative offices and operations and 5,680 square feet of retail. In keeping with the guidelines of the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District, the air quality analysis described existing conditions and meteorology, quantified construction-related emissions, assessed the potential impacts of traffic generated by the proposed project on local carbon monoxide levels, estimated emissions generated from project-related sources and the impact on regional air pollution, and evaluated consistency with air quality plans. Mitigation measures to reduce or eliminate significant air quality impacts were identified.
