Mountain View General Plan Update EIR
Client: City of Mountain View
Location: Mountain View, California
With slightly more than 70,000 citizens, the City of Mountain View is located in the heart of Silicon Valley, between the Santa Cruz Mountains and San Francisco Bay. In 2008, the City embarked on its 2030 General Plan Update, a process that will help guide future growth. LSA is assisting the City with the preparation of the General Plan update and EIR as well as the Housing Element Initial Study/Negative Declaration. LSA is contributing to the General Plan document (prepared by MIG) with the initial preparation of the current environmental conditions report, the noise element, and General Plan consultation. To date, we have prepared baseline reports for air quality, noise, global climate change, biology, cultural resources, public services, visual resources, and energy. LSA’s primary responsibility is to evaluate the Draft General Plan and prepare the Draft EIR, the Response to Comments document, and the MMRP.
