Hesperia Main Street Master Plan
Located adjacent to I-15, the final 200-acres Master Plan project was envisioned as an energetic commercial area that will attract regional visitors and the local community with a mix of entertainment and retail. At the same time, the Hesperia Main Street Master Plan is part of a larger vision to revitalize Main Street and the community of Hesperia's downtown district. One land use alternative provided a horizontal mixed land use, including freeway commercial, regional commercial, neighborhood commercial, service commercial, business park, high density residential, and open space. Alternative 2 provided housing in varying, focusing on workforce housing for entry level families. Alternative 3 explored retail opportunities with a small component of apartment housing over retail in a walkable urban environment. The Hesperia Main Street Master Plan will introduce enlivening land uses that will enhance and support the revitalization of the downtown district for the City of Hesperia
