By virtue of our work within the IBC over nearly 20 years, LSA can demonstrate a level of understanding that few can rival. We have been fortunate to have participated in over 40 land development and/or capital improvement projects in the IBC alone, which is two projects per year over the last 20 years, through recessions and downturns. Through this experience, LSA has amassed a concrete understanding of the plans, policies, and procedures for the characterization and analysis of major mixed-use projects. LSA staff has used this experience to develop methods to identify internal trip capture, pedestrian attractions, transit provisions, and land use interactions for a multitude of individual land uses and their combinations.
