The project is a 9-mile multi-use trail along the Mojave River and though Old Town Victorville. It is being constructed in highly sensitive riparian area along the Mojave River and through the Mojave Narrows Regional Park (San Bernardino County). LSA began as a subconsultant on this project but was asked to serve as primary consultant to complete the environmental and engineering planning phases. LSA revised the Preliminary Environmental Study for the project, authored cultural, visual, biological, paleontological, water quality, floodplain, and recreation resources technical studies, managed monthly project team meetings, and prepared the NEPA and CEQA environmental documents.
