The LSA team prepared two land use application packages, a Coastal Development Permit and Conditional Use Permit, to allow the replacement of eight steam generators at the Diablo Canyon Power Plant (DCPP). The permits were approved by the San Luis Obispo County Board of Supervisors and the California Coastal Commission, allowing DCPP to continue providing power to over 2.5 million households in California. LSA supervised the preparation and implementation of several significant mitigation programs associated with the approved Coastal Development Permit.
