LSA conducted biological and water quality monitoring during construction of a boat launch at the City of Antioch’s public marina located on the southern shore of the San Joaquin River delta. LSA monitored in-water construction activities for impacts to water quality and special-status species. LSA collected surface water samples from the river by boat and tested the samples for turbidity and settleable solids to ensure compliance with conditions and limits set forth in the project’s Water Quality Certification. Water samples were tested at the construction site in a mobile laboratory outfitted, maintained and operated by LSA. LSA prepared and submitted reports on monitoring observations and testing results to the Regional Water Quality Control Board.
