LSA conducted water quality monitoring during construction of the Bethel Island Road replacement bridge over Dutch Slough in Contra Costa County. LSA monitored in-water construction activities and, if discharges were observed, tested receiving waters for turbidity and settleable solids to ensure compliance with conditions and limits set forth in the project’s Water Quality Certification. Water samples were collected and tested at the construction site in a mobile laboratory outfitted, maintained and operated by LSA. LSA prepared and submitted reports on monitoring observations and testing results to the County's project manager.
