Mike Trotta has been with LSA since 1996. As Principal in charge of the firm’s Carlsbad office since 2004, he manages projects by directing the full range of environmental evaluations and assessments. He assists clients in obtaining federal, State, and local environmental permits; he also conducts general biological studies and develops technical reports. A native of San Diego County, Mr. Trotta is particularly expert in the region’s unique biological and aquatic resources as well as in its environmental constraints. Among his specialties is reconstruction of native habitat, particularly coastal sage scrub, riparian, and saltwater marsh plant and animal communities. Mr. Trotta is a member of the Association of Environmental Professionals, the California Society for Ecological Restoration, the Women’s Environmental Council, and the Building Industry Association. |
